Loreen Talhaoui finished fourth on Sweden's Idol in 2004, then spent years working behind the scenes as a segment producer and director for reality TV while releasing the occasional single. In 2011 she entered Melodifestivalen with "My Heart Is Refusing Me" and landed a top 10 hit in Sweden. The next year she went back, won the national selection, and took "Euphoria" to Eurovision 2012 - where she won. She released two more singles that charted in Sweden, including another Melodifestivalen entry in 2017, then returned to Eurovision in 2023 with "Tattoo" and won again. She became the second performer ever to win the contest twice, and the first woman to do it.
