Swedish footballer (1896-1952)
Knut Herbert "Murren" Karlsson, better known as Herbert Carlsson, was a Swedish footballer who played as an inside forward. He played professionally in both Sweden and the United States. He also earned twenty caps, scoring nineteen goals, with the Sweden national team between 1918 and 1922. He represented his country at the 1920 Summer Olympics where he was the tournament top scorer.
