H. C. Verma

Harish Chandra Verma, popularly known as HCV, is an Indian experimental physicist, author and emeritus professor of the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. His high order thinking based numericals in his book "Concepts of Physics" is nationwide famous for its difficulty and importance in competitive exams. In 2021, he was awarded the Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian award, by the Government of India for his contribution to Physics Education. His field of research is nuclear physics.
