Something wrong? The chef who turned kitchen rage into a format - screaming, swearing, and dismantling failing restaurants on camera while holding three Michelin stars at his Chelsea flagship since 2001.

Gordon Ramsay was born 8 November 1966 in Britain and built his restaurant group from 1997, eventually collecting 17 Michelin stars across the empire (eight currently held). Restaurant Gordon Ramsay in Chelsea earned its third star in 2001 and kept it, now run by Matt Abé. The 1999 miniseries Boiling Point made him famous, and the fiery temper became the brand: Hell's Kitchen arrived in 2004, then Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares (which won BAFTAs in 2005 and 2008), The F Word, and a slate of American versions that have run for years - Hell's Kitchen since 2005, MasterChef since 2010, MasterChef Junior since 2013. Queen Elizabeth II gave him an OBE in 2006 for services to hospitality, and by 2020 Forbes pegged his annual earnings at 70 million dollars. The profanity and the insults made him one of the most influential chefs in the world.
