Harley Edward Streten was born 5 November 1991 and released his self-titled debut in 2012, which topped the ARIA Albums Chart and went double-platinum in Australia. Remixes for Lorde, Disclosure, and Arcade Fire followed. His 2016 album Skin won Best Dance/Electronic Album at the 2017 Grammys, powered by "Never Be Like You", which earned a Best Dance Recording nomination. Two companion EPs arrived through early 2017, then a 2019 mixtape, Hi This Is Flume. His third album, Palaces, landed in May 2022. Two more mixtapes followed in quick succession: Things Don't Always Go the Way You Plan in February 2023 and Arrived Anxious, Left Bored that May.
