Derek Peter Palmer was an English musician and sound engineer, known for his work with the singer-songwriter Kate Bush, with whom he also had a relationship from the late 1970s to the early 1990s. He released his first solo studio album, Leap of Faith, in 2007, followed by Gift in 2010 and Point of Safe Return in 2015.
