About

Born Camilla Shand on 17 July 1947, she grew up in East Sussex and South Kensington, educated across England, Switzerland and France. She married British Army officer Andrew Parker Bowles in 1973; they divorced in 1995. Her romantic involvement with Charles ran periodically through both their first marriages, drawing relentless media attention and global scrutiny. They married at Windsor Guildhall in 2005, followed by a televised Anglican blessing at St George's Chapel, and she became Duchess of Cornwall.
