About

Louis Marie Alphonse Daudet was born on 13 May 1840 in France. He built a career as a novelist, carving out a place in the literary landscape of his era. He married Julia Daudet, and together they had three children: Edmée, Léon, and Lucien. He continued writing until his death on 16 December 1897.
