A. L. Vijay, known professionally as Vijay, is an Indian film director and screenwriter who works in the Tamil film industry. An assistant director with Priyadarshan, he debuted as director through the film Kireedam (2007) and gained popularity through the films Madrasapattinam (2010) and Deiva Thirumagal (2011).
