Zoran Perišić is a Serbian-American visual effects artist and film director. He is best known for creating the "Zoptic" front projection process, which was invented to achieve the flying scenes in the 1978 film Superman. For his work in Superman, he won a Special Achievement Academy Award and a BAFTA Outstanding British Contribution to Cinema Award. He was also nominated for an Academy Award in the category Best Visual Effects for the film Return to Oz.
