Spouse: Tom HollandAbout this person
Born in Oakland in 1996, Zendaya started as a child model and dancer before Disney Channel made her a fixture on Shake It Up and K.C. Undercover, the latter of which she also produced. The pivot came in 2019 when she took Euphoria's Rue Bennett - a drug-addicted teenager - and turned it into back-to-back Emmy wins, the first at 24. By then she'd already slipped into the Marvel machine as Michelle Jones-Watson in Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2017, a role she'd carry through four films ending with Brand New Day in 2026. Between the sequels she stacked Denis Villeneuve's Dune trilogy, The Greatest Showman, and a string of dramas - Malcolm & Marie, Challengers, The Drama, The Odyssey - that pulled praise for range most franchise stars never bother chasing. Time put her on the 100 most influential list in 2022, the same year her films crossed $9.8 billion worldwide.
