Yū Shirota

Yu Shirota is a Japanese actor and singer. Shirota began his acting career in 2002, performing as Tuxedo Mask in the Sailor Moon Musicals and as Kunimitsu Tezuka in Musical: The Prince of Tennis. From 2004 to 2020, he was a member of D-Boys, a male performance troupe by Watanabe Entertainment. He later appeared on television dramas such as Makoto Kagurazaka in Hana-Kimi (2007) and Kei Shinjo in Rookies (2008). In 2009, he was named one of the most promising actors and actresses, placing 8th in a poll conducted by Oricon.
