Soviet aviator (1921-2000)
Yevgeny Maksimovich Kungurtsev was a squadron commander in the 15th Guards Ground Attack Aviation Regiment during the Second World War who was twice awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union. He went on to become a Major-General of Aviation in 1964.
