Yaʿqūb Ṣanūʿ, also known by his pen name "Abu Naddara", was an Egyptian actor, playwright, theatrical producer, journalist, publisher, political cartoonist, and teacher. He was a pioneer of political satire and popular theater in Egypt and authored numerous plays in Egyptian Arabic.
