Nikolaus Wilhelm Freiherr Lenk von Wolfsberg was an Austrian artillery General (Feldzeugmeister) and scientist, noted for his research and experimentation with gun cotton-trinitrocellulose and improved methods for manufacturing the same. An aristocrat, he was the propriertor of the Corps Artillery Regiment No. 4.
