German weapon designer (1865–1951)
Wilhelm Brenneke was a German inventor of small arms ammunition, including the Brenneke shotgun slug. He was born in 1865 in Hanover and died in 1951, from natural causes. The Brenneke company remains in his family's hands and is still successful.
