Vyacheslav Semyonovich Stepin was a Soviet Russian philosopher. Doktor Nauk in Philosophical Sciences, Professor (1979), Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences (1994). He was director of the Institute of Philosophy, Russian Academy of Sciences (1988-2006).
