Gymnast (1909-1974)
Vlasta Děkanová was a Czech artistic gymnast who represented Czechoslovakia. She was the first World All-Around Champion as well as the first repeat World All-Around Champion in women's artistic gymnastics, as she successfully defended her title at those next World Championships. Additionally she was an Olympian, as part of the silver-medal-winning Czech team at the 1936 Berlin Summer Olympics, as well as being team coach to the Olympic Champion team at the next Summer Olympics in London in 1948.
