Vladimir Ivanovich Romashkin was an Erzya Mordvin folklorist, researcher, musician, and documentary filmmaker who is considered a significant figure in the cultural revival of the Erzya, Moksha, Shoksha, and Qaratay people. He also created the musical group Toorama.
