Lithuanian jurist and economist (1874–1944)
Vladas Stašinskas was a Lithuanian attorney, politician, and banker. In the Russian Empire, he was elected to the State Duma from the Kovno Governorate in 1907. In interwar Lithuania, he briefly served as the first Minister of Internal Affairs in 1918 and as Minister of Justice in 1938. He was the director of the Bank of Lithuania from 1930 to 1938.
