Lieutenant General Valery Yevgenyevich Yevtukhovich is a retired Russian Airborne Forces officer who was commander of the Airborne Forces from 2007 to 2009, and was Chief of Staff and First Deputy Commander from 2005 to 2007. Over the course of his career he held positions at nearly every level of command within the Airborne Forces, and was deployed in the conflicts in Afghanistan and former Yugoslavia.
