Vāgbhaṭa (वाग्भट) was one of the most influential authors in the classical Ayurvedic tradition. Several works are associated with his name, principally the Aṣṭāṅgasaṅgraha (अष्टाङ्गसंग्रह) and the Aṣṭāṅgahṛdayasaṃhitā (अष्टाङ्गहृदयसंहिता).
