Turibius of Astorga
Spanish bishop and saint · Lived 402 to 460 · aged 58
Turibius of Astorga is read about 21 times a day, in 14 languages.
Counted to August 16, 2026, not since.
The middle day of the days counted, so one week of news cannot move it. The line under it is the last 60 days, one point a day.
Something wrong?Saint Turibius of Astorga was an archdeacon of Tui and an early Bishop of Astorga. Turibius was a zealous maintainer of ecclesiastical discipline, and defender of the Nicene Christianity against the Galician heresy of Priscillianism, for which he received a supportive letter from Leo the Great, which still survives.
