Thomas G. Hannan is an American former competition swimmer and Olympian, who swam for the University of Texas through 2002, and won gold medals at the 1999 World University Games and the 2000 Sydney Olympics. Competitive in all four strokes as a high school swimmer, he would become best known swimming in individual medleys, freestyle relays, and swimming the butterfly leg in medley relays. At the 2003 Pan American Games he served as the team captain. He later worked as a swimming coach at the University of Washington and KING Aquatics and then as a management consultant, working for Bridgepoint Consulting beginning around 2016, where after 2020, he helped open offices as a director in Denver, Colorado and Austin, Texas.
