An activist for Sahrawi independence, she was elected as a member of the Congress of Deputies in the 2023 Spanish general election for Madrid. She was elected as number three on Sumar's list in Madrid after being nominated by Más Madrid, which whom she had previously attempted to run with for the 2023 regional election.
