Teispes
7th century BC King of Persian Anshan · Historical Figures · Died 640 BC
Teispes is read about 150 times a day, in 43 languages.
Counted to 17 September 2026, not since.
The middle day of the days counted, so one week of news cannot move it. The line under it is the last 60 days, one point a day.
Something wrong?Teïspes ruled Anshan in 675-640 BC. He was the son of Achaemenes of Persis and an ancestor of Cyrus the Great. There is evidence that Cyrus I and Ariaramnes were both his sons. Cyrus I is the grandfather of Cyrus the Great, whereas Ariaramnes is the great-grandfather of Darius the Great.
