Filip Szcześniak started in 2011 as Foodvillain, rapping in English on Who Killed JFK, then switched to Taco Hemingway a year later for the EP Young Hems. The 2014 Polish-language Trójkąt warszawski landed him a deal with Asfalt Records and made him famous fast. He has sold over 400,000 albums in Poland - the joint record with Quebonafide, Soma 0.5 mg, moved 150,000 copies - and racked up platinum, gold, and diamond certifications while tracks like "6 zer" and "Polskie Tango" trended into the millions. Between 2016 and 2020 he won the Fryderyk hip-hop Album of the Year four times, the only artist to take it three years running, but he never showed up to collect. Wprost ranked him 10th among Poland's most influential in 2019.
