Syed Ahmad Barelvi, also known as Sayyid Ahmad Shahīd, (1786–1831) was a 19th-century Islamic revivalist, Sunni scholar, Naqshbandi Sufi murshid, and military commander from Raebareli in northern India. The epithet 'Barelvi' is derived from Raebareli, his place of origin.
