About this person
Born September 11, 1967, Sung built the Association of Anti-Feminism and Male Liberation, the Association for the Abolition of the Ministry of Women, and Man of Korea - organizations that positioned themselves against the country's feminist institutions. Alongside the activism he operated a shelter that took in homeless men, male crime victims, teenage runaways, and gay and transgender men. By July 2013 he was carrying debts reported near ₩100 million. On July 25 he posted his intention to die by suicide on the Man of Korea website. He jumped from Mapo Bridge the next day; his body surfaced four days later.
