Dutch politician (1861–1948)
Simon de Graaff was a Dutch politician who served as the Minister of the Colonies in the first, second, and third cabinets of Charles Ruijs de Beerenbrouck. An independent politician of Protestant faith, he had conservative leanings. During his tenure, he promoted the administrative reform of the Dutch East Indies and passed a new constitution for the colony.
