Silvia Chivás Baró is a Cuban former sprinter who was an Olympic double-medalist, she won two bronze medals at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, finishing third in both the individual 100-meter dash and the 4 × 100-meter relay alongside teammates Carmen Valdés, Fulgencia Romay, and Marlene Elejarde. On the continental stage, Chivás achieved the same achievement at the 1971 Pan American Games in Cali, where she won a silver medal in the 4 × 100-meter relay and a bronze medal in the 100 meters.
