Born in Yokohama on 11 May 1984, SHELLY holds American citizenship and grew up straddling two cultures. She started as a model, then expanded into tarento work - the distinctly Japanese blend of celebrity presenter, panelist, and all-around TV talent. Stardust Promotion, one of the country's major agencies, represents her. She now appears regularly as a television presenter, her crossover appeal built on fluency in both languages and comfort in front of cameras.
