Rosario Orrego

Rosario Orrego Castañeda, known by the pseudonym Una Madre, was a Chilean novelist, poet, editor, and educator. Considered the first Chilean female novelist, Orrego was a pioneer of poetry in Chile and a forerunner of women's literature in Hispanic America.
