About
Born in Zaandam in 1963, Koeman came through Groningen before joining Ajax in 1983, winning the Eredivisie in 1984–85. He moved to PSV in 1986 and collected three straight league titles plus the 1988 European Cup — the same year he won Euro 1988 with the Netherlands alongside van Basten, Gullit, and Rijkaard, becoming one of five players to win a treble and international cup in one season. In 1989 Barcelona brought him into Johan Cruyff's "Dream Team," where he anchored four consecutive La Liga titles from 1991 to 1994 and scored the winning goal in the 1992 European Cup final against Sampdori…
