Robert James "Rick" Monday Jr. is an American former professional baseball player who now serves as a broadcaster. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a center fielder from 1966 to 1984, most notably as a member of the Chicago Cubs and the Los Angeles Dodgers, the latter of which he won a World Series championship with in 1981.
