Richard Walker Mallary was an American businessman and politician. He served for three years as a U.S. representative from Vermont and was the Republican nominee for the United States Senate in 1974, losing narrowly to Patrick Leahy. He died by suicide on September 27, 2011 after being diagnosed with terminal prostate cancer.
