Richard Bruce Nugent

Richard Bruce Nugent, aka Richard Bruce and Bruce Nugent, was a prominent Black-American modernist poet, writer, and painter of the Harlem Renaissance. Nugent was among the few Harlem artists of the time who were publicly out. He was recognized initially for his short stories and paintings.
