Latvian sprinter and long jumper (1943–1967)
Renāte Lāce was a Latvian track and field athlete. At the 1963 Summer Universiade, she won the gold medal in the 100 metres event and the silver medal in the 200 metres. She won a bronze medal with the Soviet 4 x 100 metres team at the 1966 European Championships. Lāce competed at the 1964 Summer Olympics and finished in fourth place in the 4 x 100 metres relay.
