Ray Chen is read about 268 times a day, in 15 languages.
A typical day, 30 days to 15 October 2026
The middle day of the days counted, so one week of news cannot move it. The line under it is the last 390 days, one point a day.
Something wrong?A violinist who swept two of classical music's most unforgiving competitions before he turned twenty-one, then kept the momentum going on concert stages worldwide.

About this person
Ray Chen was born in Taiwan on 6 March 1989 and grew up in Australia. In 2008, still a teenager, he won the International Yehudi Menuhin Violin Competition. The following year he took the Queen Elisabeth Competition, a double that marked him as someone orchestras would want. Since then he has played with major ensembles and appeared at the kind of halls where reputations either hold or crack. He also posts on YouTube, translating some of that stage presence to a platform where classical music doesn't usually live.
