Rania Nashar

Rania Mahmoud Nashar is a Saudi businesswoman. Born in the United States, she moved to Riyadh at an early age and studied at both King Saud University and University of Virginia Darden School of Business. She started working at Samba in 1997, eventually becoming its CEO, and the first female CEO of a Saudi commercial bank. She was subsequently included in the Forbes list of the World's 100 Most Powerful Women in 2019. In 2020, she resigned from her position at Samba to work at the Public Investment Fund.
