Pranas Kūris

Pranas Kūris – lawyer, political figure of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union and the Lithuanian SSR, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Lithuania, Minister of Justice of the LSSR, the only minister of the occupational Soviet government to become a member of the first Lithuanian Government after the restoration of Independence, professor at Vilnius University (VU), lecturer at the Faculty of Law, judge of international courts, legal scholar and internationalist, diplomat, ambassador, honorary doctor of the Mykolas Romeris University.
