Pope
A papal reign measured in months: Boniface III held the chair of Peter for less than nine months in 607, yet left a mark the Church still counts as significant.
Boniface III became bishop of Rome on 19 February 607. His pontificate lasted through the year, a brief window in which he steered the Church through decisions that would outlive him. By 12 November of the same year, he was dead. The brevity didn't erase the weight: what he set in motion during those months registered as a significant contribution, the kind that gets remembered when most short reigns blur into footnote.
