Pierre David Édouard de Colbert-Chabanais was a general of the French Revolutionary Wars and Napoleonic Wars. Fearless, charismatic and always smartly dressed, he was regarded as a cavalry officer of the highest caliber and noted for his unbreakable loyalty to Napoleon and popularity with those under his command.
