Phocas, bishop of Sinope
Bishop of Sinope · Lived 47 to 117 · aged 70
Phocas, bishop of Sinope is read about 10 times a day, in 11 languages.
Counted to August 23, 2026, not since.
The middle day of the days counted, so one week of news cannot move it. The line under it is the last 60 days, one point a day.
Something wrong?Hieromartyr Phocas was born in the city of Sinope in northern Anatolia. His life and legend may have been a fusion of three men with the same name: a Phocas of Antioch, Phocas, Bishop of Sinope, and Phocas the Gardener. Only the last seems authentic.
