Oleksandr Yakovych Konysky was a Ukrainian interpreter, writer, lexicographer, pedagogue, poet, and civil activist of liberal direction. He had around 150 pen names, including О. Return-freedom, F. Gorovenko, V. Burkun, Perebendia, and О. Khutorianyn.
