Portuguese explorer · Historical Figures · Lived 1500 to 1446 · aged -54
Nuno Tristão is read about 24 times a day, in 18 languages.
Counted to August 17, 2026, not since.
The middle day of the days counted, so one week of news cannot move it. The line under it is the last 60 days, one point a day.
Something wrong?Nuno Tristão was a 15th-century Portuguese explorer and slave trader, active in the early 1440s, traditionally thought to be the first European to reach the region of Guinea. Legend has it that he sailed as far as Guinea-Bissau; however, more recent historians believe he did not go beyond the Gambia River.
