Nozomi Sasaki
✓ Source-basedstableJapanese fashion model, singer and actress
Nozomi Sasaki turned a fashion modeling career into ubiquity across Japanese media - photobooks, TV ads for Coca-Cola and Suntory, ringside work for Dream and K-1, and eventually music. The through-line is sheer presence: wherever attention flows, she's managed to land there.

About this person
Born February 8, 1988, in Akita City, Sasaki spent nearly seven years as a fashion model before pivoting to gravure work and becoming a ringside commentator and spokesperson for Dream Fighting Championships and K-1 World Max in 2009. By late 2008 she had begun releasing photobooks and DVDs; the commercial world followed quickly, with campaigns for Fujifilm, Kao, Rohto Pharmaceutical, and a Seiko line - Tisse - built specifically for her. In June 2010 an accessory brand called Cotton Cloud opened its first Harajuku shop with Sasaki as its face and muse. She launched a music career the same year with "Kamu to Funyan," a single featuring rapper Astro for Lotte Fit's Chewing Gum, and released her debut album Nozomi Collection in April 2012. The arc is a lesson in lateral reach: start in one lane, then flood every adjacent one.
