Niketas Ooryphas
Byzantine admiral
Niketas Ooryphas is read about 8 times a day, in 12 languages.
Counted to August 19, 2026, not since.
The middle day of the days counted, so one week of news cannot move it. The line under it is the last 60 days, one point a day.
Something wrong?Niketas Oryphas or Oöryphas was a distinguished Byzantine official, patrikios, and admiral under the Byzantine emperors Michael III and Basil I the Macedonian, who achieved several naval victories against the Cretan Saracen raiders.
