Nik Gugger

Niklaus-Samuel Gugger best known as Nik Gugger is a Swiss politician. He currently serves as a member of the National Council (Switzerland) for the Evangelical People's Party since 2017. He previously served as a member of the Cantonal Council of Zürich from 2014 to 2017. From 2002 to 2014, Gugger was a member of the City Council of Winterthur. Since 2019 he holds an honorary doctorate from Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology in Odisha, India. He is the first member of parliament of Indian descent to serve in the Swiss Parliament.
