Neptali A. Gonzales, Sr.

Neptali Alvaro Gonzales, better known as Neptali Gonzales, Sr., was a Filipino politician and lawyer who served as the President of the Philippine Senate from 1992 to 1993, 1995 to 1996, and 1998. He previously served as minister of justice from 1986 to 1987, as representative of San Juan–Mandaluyong from 1984 to 1986, as representative of Rizal's 1st district from 1969 to 1972 and as vice governor of Rizal from 1967 to 1969. He also served as dean of the Far Eastern University Institute of Law from 1976 to 1986.
